After Halloween OC, it’s been too quiet, like the calm before the storm, in anticipation for our biggest event of the year. November has always been THE month for OC. Summer is finally here (could have fooled me. I don\'t like being woken up by thunderstorms.), schools/universities are finished with exams (or almost) and it’s pretty much the end of the year.

OC definitely had the Halloween spirit. Some guys and gals went all out to win the 1 TB Hardrive up for grabs. We had Zombies, a Joker, some dude from an anime (soz, not my thing), twin pirates, a guy in a ghillie suit (again, sigh... and he won. Blame the crowd who voted for him), not to mention many others.

Battlefield 2 was the social for the weekend, and it was ever so epic. Not my type of game, but I went with it and had some great face-planting-helicopter action while transporting some teamies. My bad.

The Frontosa Call of Duty 4 tournament saw mint and Teasers facing off in the final, while Brazen didn’t make an appearance (taking a break from their win at the rAge Do Gaming Finals). miNt walked away with an easy victory, winning 14 – 10 on Crossfire and 13 – 4 on Backlot. The Final in December sees Brazen and miNt battle-it-out in 3 maps for R10 000 in prizes.

But what can you look forward to in November?

Loads, and loads of prizes. Social games (Unreal Tournament of some variety. It\'s still being debated) and our unique OC vibe. Did I mention prizes?

November’s theme is Schools Out! So, make a costume that represents what that means to you, be the best, and you could be walking away with a 23” Samsung Syncmaster LCD widescreen-monitor!

For November, we will also have prizes sponsored by MSI, SteelSeries, Webafrica, FireID and Cafe Viva (in their DotA tournament final). These will be confirmed closer to the time, so keep an eye out. And as always...
